The tree that never was
December 21st, 2002
Last week Heather and I got our first real Christmas tree. In our last few residences we were not allowed to have them since they pose a fire hazard. Heather was pretty excited since we haven’t ever been able to decorate for Christmas before.
This week I threw away our tree (Metal Gear style since I am not sure what rules the city of Wilsonville has in regards to disposing trees). Although we cut and watered the tree it still dried up and died in the short time we had it. Apparently our respective black thumbs extend to trees as well.
We ended up putting the lights up around the columns in our living room instead.
